Had em’ in my sights....
Fished for about an hour and a half w/ Mrs Loop Knot about three miles from hour house. We caught five between. I caught these two, each over 13”.. Had to quit due to lightning. I believe we were set up to have my best day yet....

Hey Loopknot, where do you like to fish in the Walnut Ridge area? I'm from Paragould and fish Lake Ashbaugh, Lake Charles, Baltz lake and Portia Bay. Also Black river (when it gets below flood stage ha).

I fish oxbows off black river. My favorite is current river. I put in at Reyno and look for still water. Takes a while to find crappie spots on Current River, but the fish from that cold clear water always taste good.
You might try Shirey Bay and Hill Slough also.
