In my opinion there are a couple of other things adding to the fishing pressure of some lakes right now. First, one of the areas I fish is getting slammed right now because some people think you can only catch crappie around spawning time. I counted fifty three boats in one part of the lake last week and usually there will only be five or six rigs there. I understand a lot of people aren't catching fish but some are. Secondly, in some areas, especially in eastern AR, fresh water lakes are getting much more pressure because the White and Mississippi river oxbows are carp infested and not being fished as much. I definitely agree with the conversation about livescope increasing productivity but these other factors are adding much more pressure on some fisheries.

Reports of the demise of crappie fishing due to live scope have been greatly exaggerated.

You can't stockpile wildlife. Crappie or Kaibab deer.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Won’t make that much of a difference in the long run. Heard the same talk about spider rigging a few years ago.

The livescope just puts added pressure on fish. Just makes it harder for average joe to catch them. I fished with two pros that use them when they hammer a pile. It’s hammered.
