Had a good day chasing white bass Friday
Had the day off Friday and decided to see if the white bass were running. I have never seen more of them spawning. We caught quite a few but 90% of them were small males. The handful of big females were fun on a light action rod and 4# line.

I love catching White Bass. The hey get a bad wrap but they sure put a god pull on the line. I wish they tasted more like crappie though.

i used a Damiki light action rod, 4 pound line, and southern pro creek spins with a slider grub. My buddy tried all sorts of things and didn’t start catching them until he tied on a creek spin.Originally Posted by jackie53

Nice job, I use the white bass for entertaining the gkids and wife.
They really do fight!
