Default Looking for Greers Ferry info

Going to hit Greers Ferry this week with my son. We'll be trying our hand with some spider rigging, but we'll take some poles for jigging as well. We've fished for bass for years on Greers, so we are familiar with the lake. Looking for some crappie tips. Does anyone fish the Hill Creek area? We'll probably launch at Devil's Fork. Any help is much appreciated!

Got that. Got some SOS line as well. What size line are you using? I have 2 and 4. Also, what size jighead? I know those crappie can be picky eaters.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Wonder why no crappie. Of course, that's about all I ever fished for there. You'd think it would have some crappie in there somewhere.

I fished Greers all of my life and I'm familiar with the jungle area but, at the moment I forgotten exactly where it is. Isn't it around the point in the bay west of Sugar Loaf?
