No sir. We had hoped that we would have the funding secured by now to renovate the spillway but not yet. We have two big projects on the list ahead of Lake Conway spillway renovation (Lake Poinsette renovation and Spring River Hatchery renovation). We have been told that once those are complete, Lake Conway’s project is next.

I do have some good news however. The first good week of weather in March, the stump cutting and remarking of the boat trail will begin. We got a little more money that we originally expected, so we are hoping to get about half of the trails redone.

Timeline on Poinsette? I’m not 100% sure. It’s not in my district. I do know that it is drained and they have been working on several projects out there, but I’m not sure when it is supposed to be complete.
