Hang in there, it’s coming. More you go better your going to get.
I had a chance to get out on the water for about an hour this afternoon. From 2pm to 3pm. Water temp was 43 with about 6” of visibility. No fish. No bites.
My year-to-date total is 10 crappie. My goal for the year is to catch 200 crappie. I’m behind already.
I’m pretty discouraged. I need a 10+ fish day in the worst way...

Like he said stay after it. I drove to MS yesterday and caught 2. Always better then sitting on couch watching tv. Good days will come. Stay at it.

By the way have you tried lake Charles? I’ve never fished it personally but heard some guys like to go there.

If wind and rain ever lets these lakes get normal . Come on over and we should catch enough to put a jump towards that 200 goal . When it is good we catch plenty . Not uncommon to see as many as 100 in a day if you count dinks .
Dont get discouraged, that's for sure. You will have better days. Esspecially with spawn coming.

Well. To add insult to injury.... I called my Uncle this afternoon and he had caught 19 today. But he has about forty more years of experience than I do.

Your putting to much pressure on your self for just a hour of fishing, you need four or five hours to search and destroy them crappie.
