    Default Favorite Rod for Jigging??

I would like to hear what everyone's favorite jigging rod is. I used to use an 11 foot Buck's Graphite Jig Pole. Then I got a 12 ft. Todd Huckabee Slab Swinger. Now I'm using the new Todd Huckabee 13 ft. Phantom. This rod seems lighter than the 12 foot Slab Swinger and is ideal for jigging with the LiveScope.

My favorite jig pole is the Elite but when using livescope wanting extra reach hard to beat the 13' Phantom . If water is clear and fish spook I have even opted for casting with a 9' Hot Rod . I never used anything but jig poles till livescope showed me how many fish spook when water is clear or boat slap from higher wind causes waves to make noise . Whichever length rod you like all the Huckabee rods tough , yet sensitive .

I would like to try a 9 ft. Hot Rod for pitching to spooky fish.

I'm partial to 10' ozark rear seat rods. I had some serious issues with my arm strength and had to go with the lightest rod I could use. A year ago I had neck surgery and I think I could manage something with a bit more weight or would torque be a better word? I have also seen how spooky crappie can be thanks to livescope and am considering a longer rod. On the other hand when I fish trees like on Conway I really prefer the 10 footers for close in fighting. I've used 12 footers in the trees in the past but for me they are too un-wieldly. For more open waters I can see the advantages of a 12' or better rod.

Attended Grizzly Jig Show yesterday and that Phantom was flying off the racks. Overall, it might as well have been called Grizzly Jig Show “Livescope edition”.

Goin to mess this all up. Loved the 12 ft Sam Heaton SS until I got the 12 ft rear seat Sam Heaton. Still carry the set forward just in case.
