    Default Hey Nimrod

Does this look right to you? Seems like the hook is too big to me.

Hook looks a little big but should not stop them from biting . Need a lead head in 1/8 oz with #1 or #2 hook . PM your address and I will send you a few . Then you can call Timmy Tom and order some if you like them .

Awfully kind of you... I have some on order from Timmy Tom. I called them and told them to send me whatever it is that you use.

Also, do you ever bust the tube while sticking the jig head in?
Thanks NIMROD thanked you for this post

Not often . Make sure all burrs smooth which Timmy Tom's usually are . Spit or use lube like fish scent on lead. Then it just takes practice .

Got my Timmy Toms in the mail today. I was able to get that jig head in just fine with just a little spit on the jig.

I wanted to go today, but the weather was quite foreboding. My new obsession with crappie fishing has me despising the rain!
