It shows lots more fish than you ever thought was there . Sometimes if tight on bottom harder to pick out but really shines if fish are up and active . You must have good boat control skills to get most benefit using livescope .

How do you have the transducer mounted?? Mine's on the way and I need to make it portable. Seems like trolling motor mount would not be optimal in wind.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

    Where do you live?

I mounted mine on a pvc pole I made and connected it with a ram mount and really like the way it works. You can buy one that’s professionally made. You can look for them in the member sponsor classified.

I've watched videos and like the pvc/ram mount setup. A bud put his on the trolling motor but I figure you might want to look in a direction the wind won't let you steer. I just wonder if they will help on oxbow laydowns and brush in 5- 9 feet . I would like to pull up on a lay down and be able to know how they were situated.will see.

You can see them most of the time unless so thick it hides them . I fished with WSD '' Wister Slab Daddy '' in Oklahoma recently on his home lake Wister . We caught fish we never would have caught without livescope . He looked under a huge drift and saw a school of Crappie . He pulled in and told me to knock a hole in the drift and drop my jig here . Bam it was on . You can see his videos on facebook Robert Robertson and has a tackle store besides making baits .

Thats the reason I mounted mine on a pole. I like to pull up beside a bruh pile and see where the fish are located and then I can fish off the side of the boat instead of in front of it.

Since it sticks below the boat I worry about hitting limbs and knocking it off. I'm gonna try putting in a Plano box like the fle-fly guy.then put a ram base on the box so I can move it from boat to boat. Next gotta figure out which battery.
