    Default A little scoping today

Tried a area on Dardanelle I have not been in months . A few fish there and few Shad . The fish were mostly just looking not biting . Did grind out a good mess of Crappie . Used the same Red rods , the Elite was my choice today . Crazy watching them look at bait then swim off . Catch one and the rest get lock jaw !

You forgot to mention that you were using a purple and chartreuse tube jig.

    Nice fish!

One day, a big bald headed, overall wearing, Alabama boy is gonna roll up in Arkansas and want to go fishing. When that happens, it'll be me.

It is a brushpile with all the glowing spots fish . Crappie tend to sit while Bass and rough fish seem to move a lot . Only has a 20 degree wide angle . You can set depth and forward distance . If you can hold and place bait in the picture you see the fish , the bait , and see if it eats . lol

For only the first one or two times today in my short livescoping experience, I found a nice school of crappie this afternoon just like in your picture. They were parked on a big stump. I parked close enough to them to drop the jigs on them and watched, over and over while they'd swim around, and up to the jig. I spent 45 minutes sitting there, but by jingo, I did finally catch 2 fish. They weren't biting well at all. I got a total of 5 bites. They weren't "pulling" water and if there isn't current on our lake the fish don't bite, but I still am happy that I finally found crappie, and caught crappie with the livescope. I wish we had more white crappie, because most of the crappie reports I see using LS are white crappie.
