    Default Catch and Cook Video

Hey guys, yesterday my brother in law was in town and I had the chance to take him fishing at my favorite lake. I took the camera along and was fortunate enough to put him on some good ones. Nothing too serious, just having a good time.

My 9 year old cousin asked me to make a catch and cook video so that's what I did. Hope you enjoy.

If you like the video let me know and I'll keep them coming!

This is at Lake Sequoyah in Fayetteville by the way. Our best fish was 1lb 12oz. We caught one that was longer and taller, but didn't measure length. Surface temp was 84. Most fish were caught in less than 6fow on the muddiest part of the lake. Lure of the day was 1/16oz jig with a 2" yum white curly tail with no fish attractant. The bite didn't pick up until the sun was high and the fog was gone.

I'll be making another video soon once I have the chance to get out and fish solo. That way I can spend more time talking about what I'm doing and what's been working. I was just focused on having a good time this trip.

Thanks guys. It's a lot of work, but the encouragement makes it worth it.

For my next video I'm thinking I'll go back to Sequoyah and focus on trophy flat heads. I've never caught a big one and I'd really like to start racking up AGFC master angler pins. Plus I heard a good fishing story about a monster size flathead that lives in the lake - I love a good fishing story. I'll go after that fish River Monsters style and start off catching some bluegill for bait and most likely I'll run into some crappie. Then I'll post up off the channel and try to land a monster.

If anyone has recommendations as far as what kind of video they'd like to see, please let me know! I really appreciate the feedback.
