Everything was starting to drop but with 3 inches and more in some areas the lakes and river are rising again ! These water levels this summer are like the twilight zone . When will we see normal water levels !

If it is a wet summer again, it might be a while...

Here we go again ! Nimrod is 371.4' and spillway is 373' , the Fouche la Fave River that feeds it up from 1.73 to 18.63 ' at Gravely ! The Petit Jean River below Blue Mtn lake with dam closed , at Danville is 24.05' with flood stage is 20'. Petit Jean above Blue mtn lake jumped from 2.21' to 21.35 ' ! Will the floods ever end ?

My garden in Greenbrier was a little dry. I wouldn’t have minded using the sprinkler though!

All I asked was a slow rain an inch or so but some spots suppose to have 3 to 6'' ! My garden loved the water .

6.14 inches in the last 2 days at my home lake!
Yikes, I’m guessing back to normal by September, just in time for fall rains.

But with all the high water it will be a huge spawn . Something lakes with slow growth because of crowding like Nimrod did not need .
