Just got the trout slayer rod in. I am impressed with the feel for the price. Can’t wait to try out.

Be sure and let us know how you like it once you get it out. I’m really fighting the urge to order one.

What size reel did you end up putting on it? I just ordered the TSS and was thinking about putting a Pfleuger Presidential 2000 on it.

I have used it with both a 1000 and 2000 series Daiwa reel. I like the lighter 1000 series a little better than the 2000 series with the TSS but both are fine.

Size: 77.1 KBI forgot to give a review of the rod. I really like the TSS. In my opinion it is a great value rod for what you get. Not quite the same as the JDM rods but still a nice rod. I fished my in-laws pond for a few minutes today and caught several decent bass with it. It is pretty dang sensitive. Randy (Alphahawk)said that in 2020, BnM will be making the TSS for Leland Lures. The new model will have slightly lighter guide rods, which will make the rod a little lighter and maybe a little more sensitive. Regardless, I will be purchasing another one for my Dad real soon.

Wow. Boy is this thing light. Feels pretty well balanced with the size 20 pfleuger. I'll report back after I get a chance to try it out this weekend. Probably will be throwing 1/32oz - 1/16oz jigs.Name: 20190726_154914.jpg

Trout slayer! Amazing rod. It’s my favorite casting rod.
