Counting the Bolts or Rivets where the muddy water is coming in -- there is at least a foot difference where the water was mostly clear earlier

The river has taken a lot of lake Conway's water, now its giving us some back. Looks like we have another big storm system coming next week. They said on the early morning news today, we are gonna be above average on rainfall for the next few weeks.

The same choke points down Palarm Creek (down stream of Lake Conway) that slow discharge down out of the lake are also slowing down flood waters into the lake. Hopefully we don’t get heavy rains.

Just heard on the news tonight that the Morganza Spillway North of B R La. has posponed opening the floodgates till your water gets down here. I know it don't help you any but the longer it stays closed the more water I get off my porch, just starting to fall.

Hey Matt, how high did the lake get in May of 2011 when it flooded?

It got up to 268.45 feet MSL. That is 5.45 feet high. Not good times.
