I would try to find one that wasn’t extremely high. Not sure which one that would be but it sure eliminates a lot of them.
Looking for advice on which way to go tomorrow. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Camden got 4.5 inches of rain Wednesday night......that'll put both White Oak Lakes near me way way high. My buddy from Mufreesboro says Greeson is way up too and the Little Missouri River is out of its banks. Probably not gonna do much fishing this weekend. Need to spend time with Mama anyway.
All the flood gates are open on Lake Conway and have been for over a week. Might try Harris Brake or Overcup. The crappie are mostly in a post spawn pattern and have been a little difficult for people to catch on those two lakes. Tough time to get on some good fish. If you want to get after some bluegill or redear, you should be able to find some bedding on most lakes right now.

overcup, slabs are biting
Good to know. We were out there running hoop nets to sample channel cats today and I talked to several anglers. They all said they hadn’t got a bite. Must not have been fishing in the right spots or with the right technique.

I was out there last week fishing the visible brush on the east side of the lake. threw back 10-15 9 inchers, the big ones were on the leeward side just off the brush. the bigger live crappie minnows were working good that afternoon. the big white crappie stunk to high heaven too.
