Quick Trips
We managed to sneak in a couple of quick 2-3 hour trips on my home lake and a study lake during electrofishing sample season. It was a tough bite both times but I did get to feel the thump several times. My big fish was a 2.3 pound female. We are wrapping up the sampling season this week. Looking forward to finding some stragglers still spawning.

Been a strange year with all the rain and cold nights . Some lakes spawn about over and some yet to start . Hope you find time to catch a few .

I know a guy that caught and cleaned 6 female crappie yesterday from Dardanelle and all were full of eggs. Some of the Crappie Masters guys that fished Dardanelle last weekend said that they were catching "post spawn females". I know they don't all spawn at the same time, but I think it should be happening soon based on the water temps I'm hearing of on most Central AR lakes.
