Default Well typical spring time flood

West Central Arkansas area lakes were going good but a couple inches of rain in a few hours messed that up . Flood control lakes rising fast ! Dardanelle report I got said some areas muddy with trash and debris floating . Wind and rain in the next week forecasts won't help . Glad I got out yesterday before it messed up too bad . Water level up several feet , rose over a foot while I was fishing yesterday . Guess I will get my work done around home and see if it improves . Corps gauging station at Blue Mtn says it is on a stand still but it is wrong . They put in digital gauging equipment recently from what I heard . Locals said it is rising fast too .

Well at least I got one good trip in Friday. I was thinking about going to Blue Mountain tomorrow but I bet it's messed up now wouldn't you think Nimrod?

Booneville got an 1 1/4 rain in less than 2 hours Saturday about 3 to 5 pm. All that went to the lake ASAP. We caught 29 keeps Saturday morning scattered in 3 to 6 ft. Half the parking lot at Ashley creek underwater
