    I’d think the deep water would be fine. Weather sounds little rough tomorrow be careful if u go.

    I would get work done and make the wife happy this weekend. With all this fresh water it would be a major grind and I'm sure frustrating at times. So I will be out there next week sometime.

    If anyone is planning on a trip to the shoe anytime soon, watch out for debris in the water. There’s a lot of stuff floating in the lake right now after all the water we have gotten there.

    Well it looks like I'm going to give it a try Wednesday. Anybody have any suggestions on what to try this time of year? I've only fished it once before and it was much later in the spring but then we caught them on some cypress trees. I would think it's too early for that. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Put in at the public ramp and go up until you see the first ditch and troll double minnows in 20 to 25 fow 17 or so ft deep and you will catchem guaranteed!!!! If not 17 ft fish right on the bottom. That is the easiest lake to fish and figure out.
