    Default Camping spot reservations ??

I know with the current govt shutdown you can't reserve camping spots at federal facilities using reserveamerica, but their website has not been working since October that I can tell. Does anyone know what is going on ? The campground resident at Blue Mountain Lake told me back in October that they were re-doing their website and had it all messed up. He said just to come to the campground and pick a spot with no reservation. I sure would like to know I have a spot before going coz I have a long camper that will not fit into just any spot.

Any info or updates would be appreciated.

I don't know what is going on with the website. We have called a few parks in the past month and were able to get information via phone call. In the past six weeks we have made three different trips and on two occasions we were the only campers and at the other park there were two other trailer's. Love it this time of year, probably leaving Wednesday for another four or five day trip.

You used to could reserve out 6 months ahead. I always get a reservation for my springtime fishing/turkey hunting spots as soon as I can to make sure I get the spot I want. Just can't figure out how to get it done this year....

Don't know about reservations but the Big Four Mississippi campgrounds are open. Said they got their operation money in October. I will never understand how
    government works.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

They switched their website in October and it was a complete mess for me to get a spot.
