    Default Tried a different lake today


    Had a limit by 11 am . Stayed till 3 pm and culled. Caught lots of fish just over 10''. The biggest probably over 12'', but no slabs . Still swing'n them with red Huckabee rods and Timmy Tom lead heads rigged with purple/chartreuse tubes . Folks the fall bite is on all over .

    Nice haul! Question on the TT jig heads, do you run the weedless ones by chance??

    No sir , the insert heads go up inside tubes , don't think you could use a weed guard

    Oh gotcha! I ordered some of the weedless and kinda felt like I was missing bites. Trimmed down about half the bristles and seemed to do better. Wondered if you had any of the same experience bc you always seem to have a table full of slabs
