West central Arkansas mountains town like Russellville . Lots of good fishing lakes and public hunting . I have a Excel 1860 side console . I think it is one of the most stable aluminum boats in the wind .
I am turning 62 next week, won’t retire but thinking. We live in Texas,45 minutes NW Houston.Question is money no object where would you live, what would be your boat? This is primary home, one boat family,( even though money doesn’t matter)what say you?

I have to agree with Nimrod. I lived in Russelville for 3 years and really enjoyed it. Right on the banks of lake Dardanelles which is a great crappie/ bass lake and perfect for water sports. Or anywhere close. It's close enough to Little Rock for the wife and shopping and just north is Springfield Mo for day trips for entertainment and shopping. Really laid back atmosphere and great people. Great smaller lakes like Conway and Nimrod to fish also.
My boat of choice would be if money no object. Seark 20 ft catfish boat with 140 Suzuki motor. Can be set up for just about any kind of fishing you could want to do.
Toledo bend, sardis Mississippi or Tichnor, Arkansas. Or if money was no object somewhere in the caribean.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Lake D'arbone without a doubt. The boat depends on your preferred style of fishing; one boat isn't enough for anyone .
