    Default Road trip

I took a trip to see different waters this morning . I had lost all my coordinates on this lake so spent lots of time scanning . Fished same Red Huckabee rods using Timmy Tom jig heads rigged with purple/chartreuse tubes . I talked to some old guys jigging and gave them some jigs and depth to fish . No telling how many I caught under 10'' but never found the slabs . Left with a limit of 10 to 12'' Crappie . No photos today . Hope to make the trip again when it cools down , maybe the big girls will come out to play .

Did you just randomly drive around this "water" looking for fish or did you focus in certain areas and structure?

I tried to get off early enough last Friday to go but it didn't happen. Should have went Saturday instead of going to that dumpster fire up in Fay.

I've got some new Humminbird units I look forward to using. It's been so hot that I haven't done hardly any fishing lately. Glad to see you're catching some.

I had Lowrance elite ti9 and 7 gen 2 tough. Figured those units out pretty well. Now I have Humminbird 12” si and 10” di gen 2’s. I haven’t really used them for crappie yet. Played with them on the Arkansas river but need a lot more time on them.
