well, i do pretty good on Conway from late Sept thru late May in different areas of the lake, but dont usually catch more than 3-5 keepers (my personal minimal standard is 11") during June, July, and August. Maybe it is because I am retired, lazy, and dont get out during those three months before 10:00 am very often - while I hit the lake before dawn quite often the rest of the year

As always, Chris, you da man on Lake Conway for sure. Good to hear from you again. I never think about Lake Conway that I don't think about the time you kept trying to catch up with me and my son in law once to help us out. But unknown to me that you were trying to catch us, I'd take off before you could get there. Anyway, I appreciated all of your help, but, I too haven't got LC figured out. I Love the lake though.

For those who did not Know Dano at Gold Creek is in the middle of a Battle with Colon Cancer, keep him in your Prayers, stop in and say hi. 22, 25, 22, (36 with a partner) my last 4 trips on Conway with plenty of toads in the mix, On one trip I probably let go 25-30 keepers n Slabs I could have kept, been fishing about 6 to 8 hours. Some Pics on my Face Book page from Conway, Chris has shown enough Pics for this thread. LOL Conway is a Lake where you must Do Your Time to catch fish in it, from Jun to Sept. She gives nothing easy this time of year, until you get to know her, and may not even give then.... after you do think you know her. Don't blame folks wanting to stop trying the summer bite. Some folks never seem to get it. Master a summer jig pole bite on Lake Conway, you can master a jig pole bite anywhere. Been Catching more thumper whites on Conway this time of year than ever before.
