    gotta catch it right
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.

In its day it was about the best Kentucky bass spot in the country. River has changed and pressure increased. Not many days when you can catch 40 spotted bass without moving your feet.from 2-4 pounds. Smaller and fewer now. Seems like it never gets clear enough before it gets too low to navigate. But still a little bit of heaven.

I mainly fish Hogue and usually do pretty good. Other than that Ashbaugh and Wapanocca usually produce nice fish for me as well.

Ashbaugh seemed down to me this year. Still caught a few fish, but nothing like years past.
