    Default Thieves around Faulkner Co...

To everyone on here that lives in Faulkner Co, especially Greenbrier/Wooster area, better lock up all your fishing equipment. My grandson had all of his rods and reels and all of his baits stolen out of his boat this weekend. They also hit another family out that way, stealing all of their sons equipment out of his boat too. They have an idea who did it but the Sheriff's office won't do anything about it. Keep telling them they'll send someone out. Hasn't happened yet.

Crackheads needing quick money. Probably already sold for $20.

About 10 years ago, our barn was broken into and lots of power tools were stolen, but the riding mowers and four wheeler was left alone. Jasshonkeys only got what they could carry and sell easily. Sheriff called Dad about a week later and said that they caught the guy, but he was part of a drug ring and had agreed to help gather evidence so basically they did nothing to him and our stuff was never recovered.

Bad thing is, if you're there to stop a break in or burglary and end up injuring the thief (or worse), then you could be held liable. Crazy!

Not all thugs are motivated by drugs. Many of these cowards are only thieves of opportunity. In these times ours family and friends must be vigilant daily. If we leave our valuables unlocked or our keys in our vehicles, assets unattended in plain sight, these jerks are going to continue to prosper at our expense. I’m sorry for your grandson’s loss and hope his experience will alert others.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
