    Default Arkansas fishing trip

My wife and I are headed to Arkansas for about a week for some crappie fishing.

What lake would be a “must fish” for crappie?

I’ve heard Lake Greeson is a decent lake but we can travel to others as well.

We have a boat and electronics

I’ve never fished Greeson but have been there many times with friends through the years to water ski.
There will be lots of that going on. It’s a beautiful lake.
Early mornings would be the time to fish.
Night fishing might be outstanding. Especially with the daytime temps we’ve had lately

For the night fishing; are there a lot of hazards on the lake that you wouldn’t be able to see at night?

If you are going to be towards central Arkansas you may consider Nimrod. It’s been good on catching fish, decent when it comes to size. Depending on the day 10-20 fow off the sides of the river channel. Good luck
