I recently tried using 2lb test. Not liking it at all. The stuff I'm using is clear, I can't see it at all! Hard to tie, hard to even hold on to! And I get backlash sometimes. If I get much of a snag at all, snap goes the line. I know a lot of people use it, but I just don't think it's for me. I got it on one rod. I may keep it just for small gills or something, but I'm not liking it for normal duty. But I do love the sauce. Thanks for sharing.

Our lakes are super clear,no fishing boats in the parking lot,100-110 deg dangerous hot.Yes have been following LedHed,Alphahawk post on the panfish, bream site great info these guys have inspired me to learn this technique and the type of fishing on our waters a learning curve.Nobody fishing with 2 lb test!!
Nobody to ask no one is doing this tech.2 lb test nanofill , lite to ultra lite rods 1/64 oz jigheads in 20-30 ft of water in timber.
Got my line broke twice today.Learning curve for sure.
The sauce helps the lure slide through the branches without hanging up!Where was slab sauce when I was Bass Tour fishing!!!?

Very nice Jackie! I have been playing around with the 2-4 lb lines.
Clear deep timber fishing, just like you.
Got lots of good advice from Skeetbum before I started.
In my mind it takes a whole different mindset to use the 2 lb line.

Nice ones Jackie. I use 2 pound mono that Jeff makes for micro jig fishing for sunfish. Works great!

Sounds like I need to break out the diving gear and inspect brush piles if the visibility is really good.

Really like mono has to much stretch in 20' or Deeper. When the fish strikes have to pull out of the cover.Braid,Nonofill,Florocarbon no stretch seems to be better.

Have tried the Trout Magnet SOS 2 lb line? I’ve been using it for several years now, and it really seems to do well on Norfork. Haven’t tried the Nanofill, but haven’t really had a need to try anything else
