Default Have not been a fan of plastic or pvc in the past

Some guys have sunk plastic and PVC in some lakes I fish with good success. I have caught good fish on them on several lakes . Figure using zip ties and ss steel wire to hold them together and fasten to concrete block they should last a real long time . I think they would not be as good on lakes that get drawn down for extended periods . Most plastics are harmed by sunlight . But if remain submerged they should do well . We heard they must moss over with algae . Been thinking about trying to add small bags of feed inside to kick start algae and minnows coming around .

It is a good idea to rough up the pvc surfaces with sandpaper. It will then hold algae. If left smooth, any wave action just washes off any accumulated growth.

I’ve got about $100 in the tubing, enough for 20 buckets. Buckets were free Name: IMG_0648.jpg
