    I like the idea of "One and Done" on dropping structure but I also understand the algae growth problem but I think I can figure out a way around that.

    With the plastic boxes it is almost free . Buy cheap zip ties and aluminum or ss steel wire . The boxes free for the asking and we gather up used concrete blocks usually free . Helps to share your catch and folks love to save this stuff for you . The boxes are crushed anyway after emptied .
