With the buckets, do you guys lower them down with rope so they don't tip over on the way down or just chunk them overboard and hope for the best?

I just put them over the side of the boat and hoped for the best. From my down scan I figured mine landed right

Would these not be kinda short? I can see fish getting in them for sure but if u have a soft mud bottom that could eat half ur structure? I’ve always just thought that brush piles to be up into the water column some. Love the design of these just didn’t know if maybe stacking a couple on top of each other and then dropping might change thing?

If you don't lin these you could always do a 5' section of pipe and only pour in about 8"of sakcreate. Cap it. Put an eye bolt in the cap and attach a jug to it to make sure it stands up

With the tops in place the fish magnets would be almost 5 feet high -- as far as placing in deeper water would be good for winter.. the upper landing of the drop would be better for summer as more fish are being caught higher in the water Column..

I also forgot to mention do not use any type of foam -- it will waterlog then becoming heavier -- My brother got an old Bass Tracker that all the Foam in it got Waterlogged. His Father -n - Law had given it to him, the Plug left in it and full of rain water for years... The boat was so heavy it would not get on Plane

I like that design. Very creative. Let us know how they fish.

ArkieJason, what are the little black vertical rectangles on the sides of the buckets? I just noticed those.
