We caught a limit on Norfork this morning, but we had to work for our last 5-6 fish after the sun got up. They all but shut off once it got bright. Going to try and beat the heat and the ski boats in the morning and get out even earlier.

I went yesterday morning and messed around till about 2. Just more or less trying different things. Brought home ten keepers. Caught just as many bass but I cheated on some of them. They were feeding and jumping out of the water so I used my throw net just to see what would happen.

Fished today but was slower . We caught a mess but not nearly as good . Could mark good numbers on cover but catch one or two then had to move on . Guess that is fishing . Pays to have lots of spots sometimes .

I'm only fishing about a day a week. New house has me busy (I should say the wife has me busy). About to get lined out and get after em the rest of the summer. Already have the umbrella in the truck. That's all a fisherman needs to brave the heat!

Me and the nephew caught 29 today but they were all fairly small. Fishing an old oxbow just trolling down the center of it.

A buddy and I went today. Very slow and almost non-existent. This tree here produced a few bites and not a single fish.

I been seeing some stumps and stake beds looking like that . But figured they must not all be crappie . Caught my limit last few mornings . Staying close to home and going for Catfish in the morning with a good friend .

I should stick to catfishing this time of year. I always bring home an ice chest full and the river is less than five miles from me. I've got the crappie itch though and I can't get it out of my system. Really leaning towards trying some night crappie fishing tomorrow evening. Want to at least try it and see if it produces any better.
