    Default Maumelle Saturday for Bream


    My boat is at Westside Marine. Thought I might take my sweetie with me Saturday afternoon to pick it up then mosey on out to Lake Maumelle. Sure would love to bring home enough Bream to eat. A Kentucky or two wouldn't hurt our feelings either. What do y'all think would be our best approach? I do not have a fish finder.

    I have confidence in your choice of shops. Maumelle is still a mystery to me and is only 20 minuets from my house.

    Put in at the spot close to hwy 113 its loaded with bream all thru there.We Fished with trout magnets and crickets. Don't worry about all the snakes you see they wont bite as long as you don't look straight in the eyes.

    Yep. Chad has worked on my rigs since the Riverside days. It took several visits to get the issue with the Polarkraft worked out, but that wasn't his fault really and he didn't charge me this time. I don't use it that often but I'm trying really hard to correct that misguided approach to life. I'm ashamed to say how long it's been there...........

    Let's see, Ouachita advice, Maumelle advice; may end up having to put you on retainer! Did y'all just rig the crickets under a float? Little split shot maybe?
