No fishing for me. I worked today for half a day and now I am replacing the motor on a 2010 Ford Focus. Funny how they don't last when the oil filter gets crushed and all the oil ends up on the ground.

Was spot on about the crowds and constant boat wakes. Kept my usual limit but size not what I usually catch this time of year . Fish appeared to be spawned out and water about to normal but still a slow fall .

Don't worry about me. The wife and I are at Gaston's chasing non-edible trout. It's is our 13th anniversary or we would be on Nimrod. The lake has stabilized and the water looks good. Plan to be there most of next week

I plan on bouncing back between Lake Jacomo and Blue Springs Lake. Got a ton of yard work to do in the morning. Goal is to knock it out early and wet some lines late morning.
