Brewer handed me my Shinnee Hinnee
Went to Brewer Sunday and fished for about four hours without so much as a sniff from a Crappie. Tried big brush piles in 10 all the way to 20 feet down. Never could find em stacked on anything.
Just wanted to share some frustration and ask if anyone can throw a bone to me on this Lake? Do they hang out deeper here like they seem to on Maumelle?

Troll 1mph 8-10 ft deep from the dam all the way to the west end. Try various colors, but pinks and bright greens are what I use there. They may be a little deeper now, but I haven't been there in a couple months. I can never single pole on brewer unless its during the spawn, but even during the spawn the river is a much better producer for me. Fish seem to stay scattered there on Brewer. Its is a clean lake and has clean fish, but its not my go to spot unless I'm short on time.

Thank y'all for the feedback. I'll have to check out the channel instead of the community brush piles next time. Maybe they just aren't on those things as much as channel edges.
