Sure causes more hang ups . We used them on Atkins in winter in the bar ditch and Piney for extra weight but caught few doubles .

Anyone try the double drop shot technique in Arkansas? I saw a video on the main forum. I may try it this winter on a lake.

Absolutely gonna get snagged more, but sure is fun catchin doubles! I use two loop knots anywhere from 12-24" apart depending on what we are doing.

I don't think the goal is trying to catch two fish at a time, it's to present your bait at two different depths ....

I was up in fort smith last year and bought a 100 pack of jigs from a pretty nice bait shop there in town. It had a second eye on a swivel behind the head for that purpose.

Maybe someone can chime in with the name of the bait shop. They had great prices on jig heads too.

I went today and my double jig set up was working great, no hang ups at all and no fish. Soon as I got into the cover, caught fish and lost jigs. Finally just kept fishing with 1 to reduce re-ties
