Default Quiet Day on the Lake

Managed to take a vacation day Tuesday and take a much needed fishing trip. I got to the lake about 5:30 that morning and ended up pulling out around 6:30 that afternoon. There is very few things in this world that compare to a nice quiet day on the lake by yourself.

I started the early morning bass fishing and managed to hook two on a top water frog in the Lilly pads. Then about 9:30 I began my crappie search.

I caught over 50 plus crappie. Lots of small ones. Managed to bring home around 11-12 keepers. Fishing between 9-14 feet of water. Took me a little while to figure out which color they were liking that day but I eventually figured it out.

Nice catch and I agree with you about the nice quite day on the lake.

Nice catch! A day on the water is the kind of therapy this whole society needs. I believe that if each person could find that day for an activity that releases the stresses and puts them closer to our creator or society as a whole would benefit hugely.

Thanks for sharing. I hope we all get days like that soon.
