Your barking up the wrong tree here . Too many just surfing the net for fishing information . Most protect their information and a few that hate crowds don't share with most friends anymore. OK to share methods and baits but not locations . I have some spots where you can fish all day most of the time and only see a couple fishermen . If I posted it , most likely you could not find a parking spot the next day . Most fishing reports these days come from bait shops trying to sell bait . Look on AGFC weekly report . I laugh reading those reports ever week as most are blown up fish tales .

Is it not muddy as all get out with the water shooting up to 16 ft? And unfortunately nimrod is correct in that one post of a limit caught and publicized will most likely end with no spot to park at the boat ramp the next day simply bc soo many ppl come on here just to see where the fish are... Fortunately for us tho if they try out ol river the gars and grenals should keep the crowd beat down pretty well hehe...What kind of truck and boat are you in ? If I see ya around I'll say hello...

Gk and Nimrod thanks for the advice new online.
Gk the white was rolling and full of trash and the raise of 2 ' worried us but the old was just light stain. At least I did not give exact spot! Remember what was there and is gone now.
and yes the gar can pull the body of the jig luckily did not hook one. Some very big one there.

It’s sad but true! Keep your information close to your vest, if you share much info, and it don't take much, you might as well put up a "take a number reel" at the ramp and at the location you caught fish and just wait your turn. Pictures with identifying landmarks, pictures of graphs with GPS coordinates on the screen. And so forth will ruin your fishing hole. Word of mouth is often all it takes to get you pushed out of your favorite spot for ever. Social media has put the whammy on fishing holes around the country. There are so many lurking, looking for that one little tid bit of information needed, to put them and all of their friends and family right on your spot. And it spreads like wild fire in a dried-out hay field.
Welcome to the home of the, boat eating, trolling motor busting, prop bending, lower unit smashing, stump filled mud hole called Lake Conway.
