    Default Boat wakes

I was nearly run over today by a bass hole in a big Bass boat . He was on his phone and looked up just before running over my boat . Talked to the Game Warden and he said one ran to close to them and got a ticket today .

There was big bass boats running wide open all morning. Had to be at least 4 bass tournaments going on. Glad you stayed safe today.
This is the main reason I fish very few weekends.

Had one do it to me Friday. I'm guessing he was doing about 60mph, if I had to guess he was 100 feet from the front of my boat. Worse part is when he came into the cove I was trolling in he just idled by, but when he came back out of the cove he was screaming by lol

Had a guy a couple weeks ago on NIMROD split me and my bud that was in another boat... this guy was seriously 25ft away from me barely on plane!!!... I have never seen such piss poor sportsmanship, I thought ab running him down and telling him how I felt but didn't.
(He was wearing a blue Dr. mask like a dentist or surgeon would wear??)

I know this is old, but I just seen it and it reminded me of years ago my Dad and I were fishing on DeQueen Lake in a 16ft flat bottom up near the bank and a guy come by in a huge bass bo way to close to us, he wasn't flying but he was going fast enough that he made about a 3.5-4 ft wake, my Dad saw the wake coming directly at our broadside and was able to tell me to hold on just in time to keep me from coming out of the boat.....it was so freaky, we almost went over, and had I not grabbed hold of the side of the boat I would have went overboard for sure! Dad was about to go after that guy, but we knew we would never catch him with our little boat. Dad taught me years ago that you should always do your best to be courteous to your fellow sportsman around you.
