Thread: Lake Maumelle West End

You will regret doing this, if you exact locations on this site you will find out hundreds of folks will go check this out. Granted these are real well known areas but not everyone knew but they do now.

I have seen posters on this site give EXACT locations, depth, bait color, jig size etc and they have ruined their fishing hole! Finding them is the hard part catching them is fairly easy. If you want to help give "general info" best to not even include lake. Something like "a central ark lake" is a great description. A lot on here can't or won't spend the time to find them but they will visit the site to steal your spot.

I'm sure like other folks out there, you've probably got your own secret honeyholes you'd kept to yourself, but even tidbits like this are gold nuggets for fishing n00bs like me. That being said, watch there be a flock of boats out by the old bridge you pointed out this weekend (weather permitting)! LOL. Hopefully if those guys hit it based on the info you provided on these forums, they'll post some pics back on this thread.

Well I'll say this... what's the use really to just Hog your holeholes?? I mean I am glad I was taught and show how and where to fish. It's a big Lake and hard to fish...it will take many trips and playing around with techniques for one to figure out. There won't be a mob. And I am glad to share information. There are many other places on Lake Maumelle to fish for crappie too. Maumelle creek Big and small are great crappie Waters too. And I have a nice custom map for that one too...

No different guy, just speaking truth! Have seen areas DESTOYED by posts on here. I've lived it and so have most of the guys on here for a while. There used to be very in depth info on here to help others and while it helps most folks too many abuse it. You don't see posts on here like you use to and I am glad. I've help a ton of folks but also have went back after showing folks stuff to find guys I've shown with all thier buddies on the exact areas I've shown them. Numerous times this has happened. Just sick of being burned.
