    Prayer Request MILLWOOD LAKE


    has anyone fished Millwood lake in the fall and if so what is the best mouth for crappie thank you so much

    Never fished it in the Fall or winter. but I have in the spring, And I have caught some sure enuff barn door slab crappie. most of the time on a 8" lizard while bass fishing.

    I have only fished there twice. Both times were in the late November time frame and the water temps had come down. We found planted brush piles on the river and creek channels and caught some nice fish. We would also fish Caddo lake, which is about an hour south of Texarkana. Caddo is a great wintertime lake. However, the last few years Caddo has been plagued with Sylvania grass.
