Default Removing fish smell from hands

I'm sure some already know about this but I heard that you could use dawn dish washing soap and salt to wash your hands to get the fish smell off them. I tried it tonight after cooking some up and it worked very good! Put about a table spoon of salt in my hand and a squirt of soap and washed away all the smell! Hope this helps someone, I know my wife is happy about it!

You can use the scent neutralizer you use during deer season to take the smell off. Just a squirt does wonders. Nimrod, fish are scattered but they are still there. I seen a couple of crappie cruising through the yard yesterday!!

Baking soda and lemon juice work pretty good. Also those pics of metal (stainless steel maybe) that look like a bar of soap work pretty good. At work I just wear latex gloves when working up fish. Preventing contact with fish slime and guts works better than trying to wash it off. Some may make fun of that, but hey, it works!

A stainless steel spoon rubbed on your hands with water will also remove the odor. Works just like the metal bars you can buy.

Go crappie fishing with me and your hands never will get a fishy smell. Go bass fishing with me and you will need some soap. I hope to continue to improve my crappie edumacation this year. At least to the point were I have to wipe my hands on my pants more than twice a day. Some day I hope to make it to the "Bring a hand towel" level. Hey, a guy can dream can't he?
