I have never seen it muddy. Just wondering if it will be after this monsoon

You can bet on it. I've seen it muddy on 2 occasions. Should muddy up from the east end. West side might be okay.

I read on FaceBook last night a post by a local guide that claimed a lot of debris was in the water and peoples boats were floating off. The debris was supposedly personal belongings off the piers.
Sounds as if it is full pool right now.

I thought about driving over there today to see just how high it was. Instead drove toward Old Town, then to Storm Creek and Bear Creek. I had to turn around just before Old Town, but enjoyed the drive from Storm Creek to Bear Creek.

Those old oxbow lakes are neat. It's amazing that some of those cypress trees were around when this part of the country was still Indian territory.

I see the road between Onieda and Lakeview finally went under. It was running across it Thursday when I went down there.
Old town was still rising and was well over the ramp at that time.
That kind of water makes it tough to get to our camp

I think Dagmar wildlife management area has a sign up that says some of the bald cypress there are estimated to be over 1,000 years old. Hard to imagine.
