9:30 PM - (The night before) Boat loaded, rods rigged, jig color carefully selected and trimmed Crappie Pro style. Spots #1, #2, #3 carefully determined.... Tomorrow is "Gonna be a great day, but tonight I gotta get some sleep !"

4:45 AM - (Alarm Sounds) ......"Need coffee, but it's gonna be worth it"

5:00 AM (En route) "Man, I can't wait to hit the water today. That Crappie Pro trimmed white/chart is gonna be the ticket today. I'm fixing to kill em'. Just hope no one is on my #1 hole when I get there."

5:30 AM (Still en route) "Dang, I hope hole#1 is where they're at. Maybe I should try #2 first, then #1.... But what if they aint on #2 and someone beats me to #1"

5:45 AM (Pulling into launch ramp) "Well, at least I am the first and only boat here. Hope that's not a bad sign ! Dadgummit it's cold."

6:00 AM (Changed my mind, started at #2 spot first, but I can see spot #1) "Here comes the "late sleepers", glad I ain't one of them. I'm gonna wear em out in this spot today ! Glad I got here first !"

6:45 AM "Dang.... :45 minutes and not a single bite. Wonder if I should move ? #1 spot is still open. I was afraid of this happening..... Dang its COLD. I should probably move and change colors."

7:00 AM "Now where are those late stragglers going ? Are they heading to MY #1 spot ? Yep....Figures. And they'll proably kill em over there too. I KNEW that would be the best spot, can't believe I talked myself out of it"

7:15 AM "I can't believe I let those guys get my spot. They've caught 5 already and I still haven't had a BITE. Next time, I ain't changing my mind. I should probably move and change colors, or just leave already.... It's cold !"

7:45 AM "This is ridiculous... I should have left an hour ago. I knew these fish wouldn't still be holding in here. It's freezing out here. I'm giving em' 20 more minutes and then I'm outta here. Tomorrow I'm going to a different lake, this lake is done, these fish have done moved for the winter."

8:05 AM "Hey, that's a good en'... Guess it wouldn't hurt to stay a few minutes longer...But I'm probably just wasting my time, especially sitting out here freezing."

8:07 AM (3 Total Now) "Well, maybe they're gonna turn on out here. But, dadgum it's cold."

8:30 AM (13 Total Now) "I KNEW this would be a good spot. I KNEW if I just waited em' out a little they'd turn on ! Glad I beat everyone to this spot ! Ol' Trusty white/chart is paying off again !"

8:45 AM (15 Total Now) "Dang, I hate to leave a hot bite. Wish I could stay a little longer, but I gotta get to the office."

10:45 AM (At the Office) "Man, I smoked em' this morning. I told you I would, I never had a doubt ! Pulled up on one spot, caught 15 and I'm at the office before lunch ! I told you that you should have come with me, that lake is hot ! Shoot, with the fish biting like that, you don't even notice the cold ! I'm going again in the morning.... You wanna go ?"
