Good job.
I guess you can see the something else. Really don't know how much this stripper weighed but pulled like a 20 to 25 lb. fish. It took me 20 to 25 minutes to land this one. What a fight - those dudes are strong. Caught the crappie 10 to 15 ft. deep on jigs tipped with minnows. The area where we fish has a heavy deer population - we stopped coming out of the ramp and made this picture. We, also, got a chance to visit with our friend, Kent Keith, you c.comers know him as LR Joe. All in all was a beautiful day - with very little wind and mild temps.

That will challenge your fish playing skills. Great job. Hope you caught and released...into your garden spot.

Good day and photos. Hope you stuck a knife in that Crappie eating machine ! Hey those fillets make good fish tacos when blackened .
Sounds like a lot of fun!
Nice one Richard. Jon Stein the fish biologist up there tells me that he blackens the stripers that he catches.

Just about anything blackened is good. Bass, carp, grinnel, cardboard, are all great. I post about putting the bass in the garden, but in reality, we put all our fish guts in the garden. If we keep a bass, we will blacken, or grill it. In a pinch, it ends up fried with the rest of whatever we catch.
