Even the best have those days from time to time . All you can do is try .
Man hit the lake on this beautiful day and just KNEW it was going to be a fleece fest! Well it wasn't. We threw everything AND the book at em!!! Had only 4 keepers (and they were pretty small) after 6 hours of fishing. It was pretty aggrevating to be able to see the fish on the graph and them not participate! Only thing I could think of was the problem was.....the fish and game graph said it was going to be a poor day. I have caught fish on predicted poor days but never wore em out, but I have been nailing them lately so I figured that it wouldn't matter. I got shown today that it did. Another lessoned learned, so I guess the trip was still a successful one! Just thought I would share......I STRUCK OUT!

I like that perspective "the fish failed to participate ". That happens to me often!!

I went to Conway 2 days ago. Caught a slab the first 5 minutes of fishing. That was at high noon. Didn't catch a keeper the rest of the day. I usually catch at least 20 small fish but on that day I only caught 6 or 7. I thought it was going to be a slab fest after catching that one so fast. I was wrong. Got to go to the VA tomorrow but plan to head back to Conway to try again on Friday.
Sometimes it beez like that! The bad days will make you appreciate the good ones.
