    Default Dock Shootin with Cmj

Chris and I met up after church for a dock shooting lesson on a local watering hole. It took a while but I think that I started to get the hang of it. I can see a new rod in my future. We didn't kill them but we did catch 40 or so with around 15 being keepers. I also got to try out the new sport brella and man do I like it. I could not have fished today without it. The water temp was 94! Thanks again for the lesson Chris!

I enjoyed it Matt. Learning a new technique is always frustrating, but it is pretty fun when it all comes together. You picked it up pretty quick. Now go out and get you a new rod!

Could you expound on that a bit? I thought you used a short pole to dock shoot with. By the way that's a nice shirt you're wearing Chris. They've helped a lot of men.

That's right, I meant when you go to a lake and going to troll or push minnows better leave the short poles home....Every time I go to Horseshoe with the intentions of trolling I always end up on the docks.
