Awesome, and welcome from Batesville. Hope you didn't have a phone on you. If so it's probably shot.
I have been reading on here for about a year now and have finally become a member. Saturday I caught a limit on conway. There is no way I could have done this without the helpful post of crappie pro and arkansasbow hunter. I read crappiepros last post and saw he was using the midsouth 1000 jigs so I picked some up. I also read the post where arkansasbowhunter talked about trimming your jig into a stinger or a split tail. Well I headed to the 89 bridge Saturday around noon and tied on a midsouth jig and cut it into a split tail and also tried one untrimmed.I caught a few on the untrimmed but most on the trimmed split tail. Well long story short I saw only two other boats catch one crappie a piece but I was able to put a limit in the boat. So thank yall for sharing yalls expertise on how to catch'm, you definitely helped me catch some fish! I went yesterday but only caught 13. I feel I could've finished out my limit but my line got caught in my trolling motor and I wasn't paying attention and ended up hitting a bridge piling and fell in. So if any of you saw that please tell me you got it on video .......I didn't quit fishing though. I climbed back in and went back to it. I did end up leaving a little earlier than planned because I got cold. Anyways thanks again for the helpful post everyone! Here is the only pic I got of them

Great first post with a lot of detail. Welcome to the board from NW Ark.
Welcome aboard. Diving for crappie is dangerous in the winter months. Might try a wet suit, your legs sticking out look kinda like a split tail jig.
Nice catch and report. Keep em coming.

Glad I could help. It's nice to hear that we help folks. That's what this site is supposed to be about. Sometimes it's attention to the small things that can make you get bit on some lakes. Conway definitely isn't a piranha hole lol.
Good catch , you must be a youg guy cause us old farts would have frozen out if we made it back in the boat at all!
