My experience with MLL's is that whatever they are set at, the size right below that stacks up like crazy. Happened with bass on the River.
BUT...if it helps like Matt says it will, and he's a genius, then I'm all for it!!
Nice, I'm gonna need a bigger live well and freezer!
Oh wait I rarely ever catch 20 never mind
Why don't we change the regs to only 30 trips a year with as many as you can catch on those trips. Any size too. I like the 6" MLL tho.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
I surely would love to catch 30 crappie every time I go out, but I would not keep 30. Cleaning 30 crappie sound too much like WORK to me. I don't stockpile in the freezer, I like fresh fish. I usually keep 10 fish if I'm cooking for my family, 14 fish if my parents are coming over, 15 if mother-in-law is coming too. That is if they're good eaters. Scrapers are good too, but it would obviously take more of them, but I don't make a habit of keeping small ones unless I'm really fish hungry.
Limit has been 30 down here in south Arkansas all along and I can honestly say that I have not kept my limit of 30 fish ever. I wouldn't mind the 10" limit either.
Just my 2 cents. GTT
I have seen plenty of days where folks have had problems catching 10-10 inchers on Conway let alone 30...including myself.

I have almost 65,908 days of backlogged fishing days that I am due a larger limit than I caught. Thus, I suppose I can keep about 180 each future trip that I take. When I retired, I THOUGHT I'd go fishing 150 days a year. Hahaha. That's rich. I'd have to have 3 nubile slaves and 5 more IRA's to do that! But I go whenever I can, and I own 5 freezers, so....... I think I'm due.
