My last 2 trips produced 6 crappie. Went yesterday and didn't get bite. Cold snap shut em down for a few days. Should crank up by the end of the week

Wow was it ever slow for us. Fished hard all day Thursday which ended up being really nice weather. Mainly shot the docks, worked em hard and plenty of them, deep, shallow....Picked up 2 nice crappie and one bluegill all day. We caught more than that just fishing from the dock from the rental house. Wasn't many people out, ones we talked to said they werent having a bit of luck either. Friday we fished from daylight until the rain hit us around 10AM, didnt get a bite shooting the docks. Waited out the rain and went back out about noon, hit the pads across the lake and tried that, nothing. Rain moved back in and we headed home. Somehow missed your post hud, never tried the willows, not sure if it would have helped or not.

I got a taste now of what its like pulling a slab from under the dock, cant wait to try this when the fishing is better.

It sounds like you had a rough outing but the knowledge you gained will help you fish socks when the fish turn on. Wish you would have caught some more but at least you were out there trying.

Those fish out of socks are about a foot long is the only difference I know of lol. I'm going crazy as you can tell. Time to get a new boat. Not sure why I chose spring to sell mine. Can't wait to get back out there. Those docks can be fun when it gets right. I've had my best luck at the shoe on the east end in the willows on black and chartreuse tubes and red and chartreuse.
