    Default Lake Conway

Has anyone been fishing Lake Conway with any success lately. Didn't know if the cold front may have shut them down for a few days.
    Thanks,
    Ringo

I fished it three days prior to front with good luck. It was back up to 55' yday - I doubt the front slowed em down much.

You are better off fishing during the week if ya can, all of the weekend pressure seems to be slowing them down on the weekends. It really don't handle the pressure during the weekend very well and the fish seem to get very shy. Seems to be the more boats ya got the less bites ya get, Conway fishes to small for the amount of pressure it gets, that's why the average size during the weekends for the very few that get to catch fish is In the 9 to 10 inch range, to much pressure is taking it's toll. The hot spot on Conway used to be around the hiway 89 bridge. But like the rest of Conway it has gotten harder to catch good fish there due to the fishing pressure there. The really good size crappie have stayed out in the main lake this year, the yo yo fisherman are taking advantage of that.
You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!
